How I got into this field?
My interest in technology and design started before Fontys, when I was looking for a study that could combine creativity, problem solving, and real digital products.
At Fontys, I learned to research users, design clear flows, prototype ideas, and later turn those ideas into working interfaces.

My first production experience.
In my fifth semester, I did my internship at Lirex ST in Bulgaria, where I worked as a front-end developer with Angular.
This was my first time contributing to a real production codebase. I learned how professional teams structure projects, fix UI issues, improve existing systems, and build features that need to work reliably for real users.

From design into development.
During my studies, I realised that I did not want to stop at ideas, wireframes, or prototypes. I wanted to understand how digital products are actually built.
That pushed me deeper into front-end development, where I could combine visual thinking with technical execution and turn designs into real working interfaces.

During my graduation internship at Beter Bij Ons, I moved further into React and worked on the new Streek platform.
I focused on building clear, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for a real business case. This helped me improve not only as a developer, but also as someone who can think about users, stakeholders, design decisions, and the bigger product direction.
